FULTON, NY – A long-term investigation by the Fulton Police Department has resulted in an arrest, a department spokesperson said today (Nov. 17).

Tammy J. Dishaw, 41 of Meadowbrook Circle Fulton, was charged with Grand Larceny 3rd degree (D felony) and Falsifying Business Records 1st degree (E felony) following a lengthy investigation by the Fulton Police Department.
From September 2009 until June 2011, Dishaw is believed to have stolen approx. $9,185.05 while working for her employer, Dr. Karl Hafner’s Medical Office, also in the city of Fulton.
Further, it is alleged that Dishaw altered medical records and created false health insurance payment entries in order to conceal her illegal activity.
Dishaw was arraigned in Fulton City Court today and was released on her own recognizance.
