FULTON, NY – As of last week all four lanes and both sidewalks of Fulton’s Broadway Bridge, carrying State Route 3 over the Oswego River, were open.
The two-year project was a major rehabilitation funded by state tax dollars and included replacing some of the steel, resurfacing the concrete piers in the river, new deck, new Texas style concrete railings, new sidewalk, new curbs and new pavement approaches.
The streetlights on the south side of the bridge are new, but the new poles on the north side have yet to receive their new lamps.
