Fundraiser To Benefit March Of Dimes

OSWEGO, NY – The public can help get a fund-raiser rolling.

A big fund-raiser is set for May 29 at the Oswego Wal-Mart, according to Sean Wrench, director of sales at Nii Brokerage.

The event will run from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

“This is an event that will benefit the March of Dimes,” he said. “They have an event coming up called Bikers for Babies. The purpose of the program is to raise awareness for premature childbirth.”

The sponsors include Wal-Mart, Wheel A Way Motor Sports, Mitchell Printing and Eagle Beverage.

Wheel A Way Motor Sports will be bringing down a few motorcycles to help support the Biker’s for Babies and Nii Brokerage is giving away free lunch to anyone who would like to come down to Wal-Mart.

The menu includes hot dogs, hamburgers and chips.

“We will only be asking for anyone to give a donation if they want to,” Wrench said.
