Great Items Available At A.P.W. High School’s Club Renaissance Auction May 21st

Altmar-Parish-Williamstown High School’s Club Renaissance has been seeking great donations for their upcoming auction. The donators have been very generous and this auction promises to have some impressive items up for bidding! Plan now to come and bring your money for some great deals on products, services, and tickets to some amazing travel locations! The auction will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. in the high school cafeteria. There will be a concession stand open to purchase hotdogs, nachos and cheese, popcorn, chips, baked goods, and drinks. All proceeds from the auction will help the club to construct a Valedictorian/Salutatorian Wall of fame and all proceeds from the concessions will go for other Club Renaissance initiatives.

Some of the great items available for bidding are: Park Hopper Passes to Walt Disney World in Orlando Florida, Skychiefs limited edition figurine on stand of #39 Chad Mottola, Mexicali Rose gift certificate, Wise Guys Comedy 4-pack pass, Uncle Sam’s Boat Tours 2-Nation Tour for two, Advanced Wellness one hour massage in Mexico, NY, Oswego Speedway 3 day Classic Weekend one adult and one child ticket, Sociale Make and Take Gourmet in Clay gift package including $30.00 gift certificate and $37.00 product, Trade Secret Gift package, Tractor Supply Company in Oswego gift certificate, American Tourister Bag from J.C. Penney, Autographed picture of NY Yankee Bucky Dent and autographed picture of NY Yankee Larry Bowa from CNY Promotions, Adirondack Chair from A.P.W. Technology Club, and a Tanning Bed gift card for any of their locations. Many more items have been promised but are yet to arrive including tickets to shows in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, Great Escape Indoor Water Park passes, and Senior Portrait and Family Portrait packages from Creative Images in Lacona. This auction will have a format similar to the WCNY Tel-Auc. Those who wish to bid will be given a bidder number when they enter as well as a bid pad and a list of the items that will be up for bid. Items will be put up in groups for people to bid on each item individually. As we close out one group, we will then put up another group of items to bid on. Bidders will be able to have a seat at a table and place bids by raising a bid sheet for the item they wish to bid on. A runner will take your bid to the table to be entered. We will keep a running tally of the items you have successfully bid on and your running total. At any time, you may stop at the designated table to pay for your items and pick them up.

We will close the bidding on all items at 6:45 to allow people time to collect their items and make their way to the auditorium for the Cabaret. The Cabaret is an annual event and will start at 7 p.m. The cost is just $3.00 per person or $10.00 for families of 4 or more. Tickets are only available at the door. This event, which is a big hit every year, will feature songs from Stage and Screen and includes songs from Broadway musicals and hit movies.
