Hastings Woman Charged With Driving While Intoxicated Following Crash

On Thursday (November 3), at approximately 6:30 p.m., State Police responded to a one-car motor vehicle accident on State Route 264 in the town of Palermo.
Investigation at the scene revealed that Kaleena G. Brown, 33, from 16 Baratier Road, Hastings, had lost control of her vehicle and exited the roadway striking an earth embankment and a mailbox.
Troopers further determined she was allegedly intoxicated and was in possession of marijuana.
Brown was taken into custody and charged at SP Fulton with Driving While Intoxicated, a misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation.
Brown was released to a third party and is scheduled to appear in Town of Palermo Court on November 14.
