The too-brief life of Reba Landers[1] was honored Thursday night at a graveside memorial service at Fulton’s Mt. Adnah Cemetery, NewsChannel 9 reports.

The 9 month old child died over the Fourth of July weekend of hyperthermia[2].  Police allege[3] the child was left in a camper in the town of Volney on a very hot day.

The child’s mother, Sara E. Landers, has been charged with manslaughter.

Michelle Mason, the child’s great aunt, told NewsChannel 9[4]. “It’s really nice that people showed up to show their respects to her.”
