FULTON – With Election Day approaching, James Hanlon, candidate for the Oswego County Legislature’s 25th District, is reminding residents how important their vote is in shaping the future of their community.
“Every vote matters, and local elections are where your voice has the greatest impact,” said Hanlon. “I’m asking everyone, no matter your party, to get out and vote. This is our opportunity to move Oswego County forward together.”
Hanlon, a U.S. military veteran, small business owner, and dedicated community volunteer, officially launched his campaign earlier this year with a focus on integrity, transparency, and honesty. His record of leadership and civic engagement has earned him endorsements from Oswego County Sheriff Don Hilton and Oswego County Clerk Terry Wilbur, both of whom praised his honesty, work ethic, and deep commitment to local families.
“James Hanlon is a man of integrity and action,” said Sheriff Hilton. “His leadership and values will be a tremendous asset to the Oswego County Legislature.”
“James knows what it means to serve and to lead,” added Clerk Wilbur. “He has the experience and character we need in county government.”
Throughout his campaign, Hanlon has emphasized practical, common-sense leadership rooted in community priorities. His platform includes:
“I’ve had the honor of serving my country, running a successful business, and volunteering alongside my neighbors for many years,” Hanlon said. “Now, I’m ready to take that same dedication to the County Legislature, to listen, lead, and deliver results for everyone.”
Hanlon’s campaign encourages all eligible voters to make their voices heard. Early voting is underway in Oswego at 74 Bunner St and in Pulaski at the Barclay Courthouse, running through November 2nd. Election Day is on November 4th from 6am – 9pm. Residents of the 25th Legislative district vote at Towpath Towers or the Elks Lodge. “I’m grateful for every conversation I’ve had with residents across the district,” Hanlon added. “Now it’s time for everyone to take part in our democratic process. Get out and vote — your voice matters.”
