Mayor Rice Lifts Snow Emergency for the City of Fulton

FULTON – Effective at midnight on Thursday, February 20th, 2025 – Mayor Rice has officially lifted the snow emergency and travel advisory for the City of Fulton, NY, following significant progress in clearing the streets.

After an extended period of heavy snowfall, the Department of Public Works (DPW) has made substantial gains in clearing snow-covered roadways, ensuring safer travel conditions for residents. Following careful consideration and discussions with the Department of Public Works and the Police Department, the City of Fulton is now able to resume normal operations.

“We appreciate the patience and cooperation of our residents during this snow emergency,” said Mayor Rice. “The dedicated efforts of our DPW crews and emergency personnel have allowed us to restore safe conditions throughout the city.”
