HANNIBAL, NY – A motor vehicle accident involving two vehicles Wednesday evening (Sept 21) at Pollard Road and State Route 3 in Hannibal left two people transported by ambulance to Syracuse area hospitals.
New York State Police, Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, Menters Ambulance and Hannibal Fire Department were among the departments that responded.
One man from each vehicle involved was transported by ambulance to both Upstate Hospital and VA Medical Center.
Both men were being evaluated for non-life threatening injuries.
Further details including the cause of the accident and names of those involved were not released at the scene though on-site responders referred to the MVA as a “minor accident.”
Traffic was temporarily delayed through this area as responding departments worked to transport injured vehicle occupants and quickly clean the scene to begin routine traffic flow.
