Pennellville Woman Dies In Hastings MVA

HASTINGS – A second fatal MVA this week has claimed the life of a Pennellville woman.

According to state police, Barbara Weakley died Wednesday as a result of a crash on State Route 49 shortly after 5:15 p.m.

Her husband, Eugene, who was reportedly driving, is in critical condition, according to police.

The vehicle went off the road, striking a tree and splitting apart.

It is unknown what may have caused the crash.

Investigators are still on the scene tonight.

Two people died and a third is in critical condition following a crash in Granby earlier this week.
