Photos: Students Make Music

Students from Volney Elementary School’s orchestra this week presented a mini-concert to members of the Fulton Board of Education.
They came to remind people that it’s Music In Our Schools month, the month when school bands, orchestras and choruses put on performances to highlight their achievements.
The schedule of remaining performances in the Fulton school district is below.
March 16 Lanigan MIOSM Concert 6:15 PM Lanigan Cafeteria
March 17 GRB Chorus MIOSM Concert 7:30 PM GRB Auditorium
March 18 Fairgrieve MIOSM Concert 6:15 PM Fairgrieve Gym
March 18 GRB Jazz Bands Concert w/ CNY Jazz Orch 7:30 PM GRB Auditorium
March 24 Granby MIOSM Concert 7:00 PM Granby Cafeteria
March 25 GRB Bands MIOSM Concert 7:30 PM GRB Auditorium
March 26-27 All-County Orchestra Festival Oswego HS
March 30 Volney MIOSM Concert 7:00 PM Volney Cafeteria
March 31 GRB Orchestras MIOSM Concert 7:30 PM GRB Auditorium
April 9-10 All-County Chorus Festival Pulaski HS
Hannibal’s concert band performance is scheduled for March 16 at 7:30 p.m.
A list of scheduled music events for Oswego schools was not available at the district’s website.
