Police investigating body found in Oswego River

FULTON, New York – On Sunday, April 9, at about 10:31 a.m. the Fulton Police Department responded to the Oswego River between the East Broadway Bridge and the Oneida Street Bridge for a reported body floating in the water.

A white middle aged female, between 5’5”-5’7” tall, medium length blonde hair, and hazel eyes, wearing a tan skirt, black and white striped shirt and a black peacoat style jacket was recovered from the water.

The female was transported to the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office to help identify and determine a cause of death.

Investigation is ongoing.
