At the meeting, NYSDOT representatives will be available to answer questions from the public. No formal presentation is planned, so those interested can attend any time between 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. without being concerned about missing important information.
The project would replace the existing culvert on Route 264 with a slightly longer bridge. The project would include installation of the new bridge with minor approach work on either side. Traffic will be detoured during construction, which is expected to last approximately three months. The signed detour will utilize Oswego County Route 6, NY 3 and NY 49. Work is scheduled to begin in 2012.
This information meeting is part of the continuing effort by NYSDOT to encourage public participation in the development of transportation projects.
The Schroeppel Town Hall is accessible for persons with disabilities. Please contact Joe Szczerba, P.E. at (315) 428-4345 if a sign language interpreter, assisted listening system, or other accommodation will be required to facilitate your participation at this public meeting.
