State Police Arrest 17-year-old Stabbing Suspect

FULTON, NY – The New York State Police in Fulton arrested Shawn Hennessy, 17, of  171 Malverne St., Syracuse.

He was charged with Assault 1st Degree, a Class B Felony following a six-week investigation.

The arrest stems from an incident occurring outside of a residence October 27 on Voorhees Road in the town of Parish.

A fight broke out during a party that resulted in Hennessy stabbing two 21-year-old men with a knife, troopers said.

Both victims were treated at Upstate Hospital, Syracuse, and have been subsequently released.

Hennessy was arraigned and committed to the Oswego County Jail on $15,000 cash bail pending further court proceedings.
