FULTON, NY – On April 3, at approximately 4:24 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on State Route 481 in the city of Fulton for a traffic violation.

The driver, Deanna J. Wettering, 35, of Fulton, was found to allegedly be in possession of several prescription pills without a valid prescription, including Adderall, Lyrica, and clonazepam.
The vehicle’s passenger, Kristina R. Serio, 33, also of Fulton, was found to be in possession of Adderall and hydrocodone pills without a prescription, as well as heroin, police said.

Both women were taken into custody and transported to SP Fulton where they were each charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance in the 7th Degree, a class “A” misdemeanor.
Wettering and Serio are scheduled to appear in the City of Fulton Court on April 11, at 9 a.m.
