Transformation of Fulton Urgent Care to Fulton Medical Center is Underway

Later this year, the Fulton Medical Center will open its doors. The center will make use of all of what used to be Lee Memorial Hospital and which has been, since shortly after the hospital closed, the Fulton Urgent Care center.
At the moment, the building is in flux. Dozens of construction workers are busily transforming an old building into a new place.
Along with a relocated and expanded Urgent Care center, it will house:
- Medical imaging for X-rays, CT scans and fluoroscopy;
- Private areas for women needing mammograms, sonograms or bone density tests;
- A blood draw area with three draw stations;
- Rehabilitation services, including a 1,300 square foot rehab gymnasium;
- An MRI facility.
Oswego Health is using more than $22 million in state grants to renovate the building.
