A Fulton man was the only person nabbed as police tested 15 city stores and bars, along with their customers, to see if they would sell alcohol to or buy alcohol for someone under 21 years old.
Police charged Richard Guppy, III, 32, of 308 W. Broadway with a misdemeanor count of unlawfully dealing with a child.
Fulton Police praised the 15 stores for successfully avoiding selling alcohol to the teenager used to set up the stings. The businesses are:
The effort was paid for by a grant from the state to the county Council on Alcoholism and Addictions.
