Weather Notebook For May 30, 2011

According to Oswego’s weather observer, the area received no rain on May 29.

His records are for 5 p.m. to 5 p.m. and the thunderstorm will be carried over to the 30th’s figures.

The Port City’s rainfall total for May is 4.50 inches.

For the year, the total stands at 21.48 inches.

The temperature made it up to 86 degrees on Sunday. That was just a degree below the record (87 degrees in 1987).
