White Ribbon Campaign Emphasis At First United Church Of Fulton

On Sunday, June 29th during the 11:00 AM worship hour, Ms. Robin Braunstein, Director of Services to Aid Families (SAF), a division of Oswego County Opportunities, will speak on behalf of the White Ribbon Campaign. She will outline the sobering statistics related to domestic violence The role of the religious community will also be explored as a positive agency for responding to domestic violence.

Within the worship hour the Chancel Choir, directed by Burton Phillips, will offer two anthems. Pastor Nethercott will bring a Meditation. The celebration of Communion will also be included in the service. Because of the Church Picnic following the service, everyone is invited to just ‘come as you are’.

The All-Church Picnic will be held in the Fellowship Hall at 12:30 PM. Guests are welcome. Everyone is invited to bring a dish to pass. Table service, meat and hot and cold drinks will be provided. The Board of Deacons and the Education Committee will host the picnic.

First United Church is affiliated with the American Baptist Churches, USA and the Presbyterian Church (USA). Each worship service has hearing assistance and large print bulletins. Nursery care is offered. Handicap access is available through the Utica Street entrance. Please call in advance if you need assistance.
