National Grid Increases Staffing, Stages Crews In Anticipation Of Severe Winter Weather Across Central New York And Mohawk Valley

SYRACUSE, N.Y. February is coming to a close with one last winter storm and National Grid is responding by increasing staffing and extending evening and overnight work shifts. Meteorologists have called for heavy snow and the potential for ice and high winds across the I-90 corridor from the Syracuse area and to the Mohawk Valley beginning on Monday evening and extending through Tuesday morning. The company has activated its comprehensive emergency response plan, including:
