Onondaga County Sheriff’s Pistol Permit Office Will Be At The Syracuse Gun Show This Weekend At The Fairgrounds.

SYRACUSE, NY – Once again, this year the Onondaga County Sheriff’s Office Pistol Permit Unit will have their table set up at the Syracuse Guns Show at the NYS Fairgrounds Center of Progress Building in Geddes to help answer questions and get newly purchased firearms on permits.  The Gun Show will run Saturday September 16, 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday September 17, 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.

Members of the Sheriff’s Office will be available to answer questions regarding the NYS Pistol License Application issued in Onondaga County and will again be processing amendments acquiring/disposing weapons for Onondaga County pistol license holders ONLY.  A $3 fee will be required per amendment – CASH ONLY.  Anyone with a blue style card will need to come downtown to get a new permit and anyone with a paper permit will need an appointment after the show to be upgraded to the new plastic style.

Dates: Sat 9/16/23 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. & Sun 9/17/23 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Admission: Adults – $8, Seniors – $6, Under 12 (with adult) – Free
