UPDATE October 24: The move toward a single public entry door at the Oswego County Legislative Office Building, located at 46 E. Bridge St. in Oswego, will be delayed until Tuesday, Nov. 1 to finalize additional set-up and testing.
The new security measure will require the public to enter at the lower East Second Street entrance on the first floor of the building. It is located just south of the corner entrance at the intersection of East Second and Bridge streets near the Oswego County Treasurer’s Office.
The move was approved by the Oswego County Legislature as part of a broader building safety project aimed at enhancing the safety of the public and county employees.
OSWEGO – The Oswego County Legislative Office Building located at 46 E. Bridge St. in Oswego will move to a single public entry door effective Tuesday, Oct. 25.
The public will be required to enter at the lower East Second Street entrance on the first floor of the building. It is located just south of the corner entrance at the intersection of East Second and Bridge streets near the Oswego County Treasurer’s Office.
An Oswego County Sheriff’s Deputy will be at that door to help guide visitors to their destination within the building.
The move was approved by the Oswego County Legislature as part of a broader building safety project aimed at enhancing the safety of the public and county employees.
