Oswego County Man Arrested on Multiple Sex Offense Charges

OSWEGO COUNTY – On May 9, 2024, State Police in Hastings arrested Joshua M. Sprague, age 41, from Hastings, NY, for Criminal Sex Act 1^st degree (class “B” felony) and Unlawful Publication of an Intimate Image (class “A” misdemeanor).

 

These charges were the result of an investigation that Sprague engaged in sexual conduct with a 42-year-old female victim by force and posted intimate photos of the victim on a social media page without her consent.

During this investigation, two additional female victims came forward regarding more sexual offense allegations that occurred from 2017 to 2024 at multiple locations in Oswego County.

On May 24, 2024, Joshua M. Sprague was arrested for Rape 1^st degree (class “B” felony) and Criminal Sexual Act 1^st degree (class “B” felony).

Sprague was processed at SP Hastings, arraigned at CAP court in Oswego County, and remanded to the Oswego County Jail.

Additionally, based on the fact that Sprague has been alleged to have committed first-degree sex offenses against more than one victim, he is also being charged with one count of Predatory Sexual Assault, class A-II felony.
