Oswego County Sheriff’s Members Honored With Lifesaving Award

Oswego County Sheriff Don Hilton presented the Lifesaving Award to three members of his office at the Oswego County Legislature’s Public Safety Committee meeting. The men were honored for the lifesaving measures they took while responding to incidents. Deputy Max Emond prevented a victim of a serious UTV accident from bleeding to death, while Sergeant Mark Walton and Deputy Mike Kraus saved a man on the Oneida River from drowning and assisted in location of a second victim. The Legislature’s Public Safety Committee was on-hand during the presentation of the award.
