City of Fulton news:

• A Fulton Junior High School teacher was arrested for stealing items from the school over the course of three years. The teacher was also arrested on illegal weapons charges after police searched his home for the stolen items. Read full story here.[1]

• The Fulton Family YMCA is hosting their annual dance: Ties and Tiaras. The event is centered on young girls and the men who hold a very special in their lives. The dance will be held on February 17 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. See full story here.[3]

• An Oswego City School bus driver was charged with illegal drug use during work hours. Police reported the driver engaging in inappropriate activities on the bus during breaks from transporting children around. See full story here.[5]
• Oswego native, the late Dr. Mary Walker – who was also a Civil War surgeon and women’s rights activist and abolitionist, will receive two new honors by the federal government. See full story here.[6]
• Mayor Billy Barlow announced today the City of Oswego has completed the installation of a new back-up generator at the Oswego Water Plant. The generator will provide a backup source during any kind of emergency power outage. See full story here.[7]
