OSWEGO, NY – A spattering of raindrops about two hours before the big fireworks extravaganza gave Harborfest goers a rainbow preview of events to come.
Just after the sun set over Breitbeck Park it was time for the real show to begin.
Promptly at 9:30 p.m. the sky over Wright’s Landing was alight with fireworks that looked like streamers and chrysanthemums, peonies and horsetails, and an alternating effect like a rainbow bridge undulating along the harbor’s break wall.
The show lasted a breathtaking half hour and left the crowd cheering and whistling right to the last reverberating report.
Fireworks by Grucci Director of Operations Chris Carlino provided Oswego County Today with the song list used to choreograph the Oswego Harborfest show:
