On May 24 at 7:07 p.m., troopers from SP Lowville were dispatched to State Route 177 in the town of Pinckney for a vehicle off the roadway.
Troopers arrived on scene and interviewed the operator identified as 31-year-old Nicholas J. Clemons from Albion.
Troopers conducted field sobriety tests on Clemons and subsequently he was arrested for Driving While intoxicated.
Clemons was processed at SP Lowville where he gave a breath sample of .29% BAC.
He was then released to a third party to appear at court on a later date and time.
The New York State Police were assisted by Troopers from SP Carthage and Lewis County Sheriff’s Department.
