OSWEGO – Deputies say they have apprehended the man involved in a theft nearly three years ago.

At 3 p.m. Wednesday, Joseph P. McMullen, 48, of County Route 22 Bldg. 1502, Altmar, was arrested for fourth-degree criminal mischief, a class A misdemeanor and third-degree burglary, a class D felony.
The arrest stems from the investigation into an incident that occurred in November 2009 at the Oswego County Waste Facility in the town of Richland when a safe was stolen that contained cash along with punch cards and residential hauler stickers with a value of more than $11,000.
McMullen was arraigned in the Town of Schroeppel Court.
He was remanded to Oswego County Jail without bail.
