Autism 5k Kicks Off City St. Patrick’s Day Celebration

OSWEGO— The 8th Annual, now Irish, “Out Run Autism” 5k, slated for this Saturday, March 4, 2023 is kicking off the city St. Patrick’s Day Celebration at 9:00 a.m.

The event beginning and ending at The Press Box, 29 East First Street, will benefit the Oswego County Autism Task Force and scholarships for Oswego County students on the Autism spectrum.
“With the new Irish look, and an earlier date that may bring cooler temperatures we are so thankful for the support of The Press Box once again,” noted Race Director, Julie Chetney.
The Press Box will be serving up complimentary hot chocolate and coffee to all participants before and after the 5k.

 The run/walk will take participants through Oswego’s East side and scenic Fort Ontario area beginning at 9:00 a.m. on March 4. Registration is open until March 3 at noon.  Register at www.raceroster.com.
