Camden Man Dies In Amboy Crash

OSWEGO, NY – At 12:45 a.m. today (Sept. 9), members of the Oswego County Sheriff’s Department, West Amboy Fire Department and Williamstown Fire Department responded to a fatal motor vehicle accident on County Route 17 in the Town of Amboy.

Kenneth J. Birmingham (35 years old) of 185 Birmingham Drive, Camden, was operating a 1997 Chevrolet S-10 pickup northbound on County Route 17, negotiated a curve, lost control crossing into the southbound lane, drove off the west shoulder and struck a tree.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle was pronounced dead at the scene.

The investigation is ongoing.
