Cause of House Fire Under Investigation

OSWEGO, NY – The cause of a late afternoon house fire in the city of Oswego is still under investigation.

The fire at 211 W. Third St. was reported just before 5 p.m. on Labor Day with smoke showing from the residence upon the first units arriving.

Crews knocked the fire down within minutes containing fire damage to the room of origin and upstairs bathroom with some smoke and water damage to other areas of the house.

There were no injuries.
