City of Oswego Celebrates Community Spirit with 13126 Day

OSWEGO – The City of Oswego is proud to invite residents and visitors to celebrate 13126 Day, a community-wide celebration inspired by Oswego’s zip code and dedicated to highlighting the people, places, and businesses that make the city special.

On this day of local pride, more than 45 Oswego businesses and organizations will be participating by hosting special events, offering exclusive promotions and sales, and creating unique experiences throughout the city. From retail and dining to arts, recreation, and family-friendly activities, 13126 Day showcases the wide variety of local offerings that make Oswego a vibrant place to live, work, and visit. 

“13126 Day is a celebration of everything that makes Oswego such a special place,” said Mayor Rob Corradino. “It highlights our local businesses, our organizations, and most importantly, the strong sense of community that brings people together. I encourage everyone to come out, support local, and take part in this citywide celebration.” 

45+ Local Businesses & Organizations Participating 

Throughout the day, participating businesses and organizations will be hosting a wide range of activities, including in-store events, special promotions, discounts, sales, and family-friendly programming. This citywide participation reflects the strong collaboration and community pride that define Oswego.

Free Shuttle Service 

The City of Oswego has collaborated with the Oswego County Office of Mobility Management to offer free shuttles running continuously from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. with stops at key locations throughout the city, including: 

• The Foundry 

• Curious Kidz 

• Breitbeck Bell Lot 

• Water Street Square Lot 

• Civic Plaza 

• Press Box 

• Richardson-Bates Museum 

• The Organic Earthling 

• Oswego Speedway/Lighthouse Lanes 

Shuttles provide convenient access to participating businesses, attractions, and evening events. 

SBG Bingo: Shop, Explore, Win 

As part of the celebration, residents and visitors are encouraged to take part in SBG Bingo, a fun and interactive way to explore local businesses. 

• 24 local businesses are participating 

• Free to play 

• Bingo cards can be picked up at any participating business or downloaded from www.oswegony.gov and printed at home 

• Players should check the participating business list for individual business hours 

• Completed bingo cards can be redeemed for prizes at the Oswego Visitor’s Center, located at 201 West 1st Street, from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on January 31, 2026. 

Drone Show Finale 

The day concludes with a spectacular drone show (weather-dependent) at 6:00 p.m. at Oswego Speedway, providing a memorable finale to the celebration. Tune in to Y94FM for show announcements and music as you watch the drones light up the sky! 

Recommended viewing locations include: 

• The parking lot at the corner of Jim Shampine Drive and East Albany Street 

• The Price Chopper Plaza off George Street
