OSWEGO, NY – Breitbeck Park will be hopping this weekend. The Oswego Kiwanis Club will host the 2017 edition of the annual Easter Egg Hunt on April 15. The hours will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Julie Burns, president of the Kiwanis Club, said the club will facilitate the annual Easter Egg Hunt this year.
“The kids will get a bracelet when they get in there,” according to Jennifer Losurdo. “No parents will be allowed to help (older kids) find eggs. The parents can go with them if they are younger than 3. There is a special area for them.”
For the event, children will be on the inside of the hunt area and parents will be outside, Burns explained.
There will be plenty of volunteers on hand to do crafts and other activities to keep the children busy and entertained, she added.
Members of Performance Fitness will be doing security.
• Ages 3 – 5 will hunt at 10 a.m.
• Ages 6 – 8 will hunt at 11 a.m.
• Ages 9 – 11 will hunt at noon
Everyone will receive a goody bag and a raffle ticket at the end of their hunt, Losurdo said.
Prize drawings will be held at 1 p.m.
Besides the drawings, there will be arts and crafts for the youngsters as well as games and refreshments, including free popcorn and drinks.
