OSWEGO, NY – Mayor Gillen has lifted the Emergency Parking Ban in the city of Oswego, effective immediately (Jan. 23).
The Emergency Parking Ban was put into effect January 22, to assist our city DPW crews in clearing the heavy snowfall from city streets.
Mayor Gillen reminds city residents that the Alternate Side Parking Restrictions are still in effect between 1 and 6 a.m., and asks everyone to please park on the even side of the street on even calendar days, and on the odd side of the street on odd calendar days.
The Alternate Side Parking Restrictions were put into effect on December 26, 2012, to offer options to residents who have no driveway and no off street parking available to them.
