OSWEGO, NY – At 5:19 a.m. today (Jan. 5), the Oswego Fire Department responded to a structure fire at 6 W. Eighth St.
The fire was knocked down in about 10 minutes, according to Fire Chief Jeff McCrobie .
It was confined to one room, he said.
There was water damage into other rooms, however.
No injuries were reported, the chief said.
All four occupants of the house escaped unharmed.
The owner of the house is Dan Dorsey Jr., according to the fire chief.
The cause of the fire hasn’t been determined.
