Fire Hits Pulaski Motel

Fire overnight did damage to the Fish On! motel[1] in downtown Pulaski.

The fire was reported at about 4 a.m., officials said.

It took more than an hour to bring it under control.

There is a report that one man died.

His body was reportedly found in one of the motel’s rooms after the fire was extinguished.

Officials aren’t releasing his name and won’t say whether he was  a guest at the motel.

Route 11 through the village is shut down because of the fire.
