Shortly after 4 p.m., officials on the scene reported finding a mulch pile, 20′ in diameter and 10′ high, burning on all sides.

In order to fully extinguish the fire, the mulch pile had to be spread out with a bobcat, then doused with water.

Oswego Fire Department personnel were in service after about 30 minutes.

No injuries were reported.
