FLS Presents Godfrey Award

OSWEGO, NY – The Laurie A. Godfrey Memorial Award for Creative Writing Award was presented to a fifth grade Frederick Leighton Elementary student in memory of the former Leighton student.

This award has been given for nearly three decades.

This year, Vanessa Wiltsie received the honor.

Presenting the award are FLS Principal Julie Burger, Lorraine Smith (Laurie’s mother) and they are joined by Theresa Wiltsie.
