Hannibal Man Charged With Criminal Sex Act

OSWEGO – On Wednesday (Jan. 10) at 9:19 a.m., Richard L. Calkins Sr., 30, of 615 66 Road, Hannibal, was arrested for first-degree criminal sex act, a class B felony and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
The arrest stems from the investigation into an incident that occurred on Dec. 27, 2017, at a residence in the town of Hannibal, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
He allegedly engaged in oral sexual contact with the victim being less than 11 years of age.
Calkins was arraigned in the Town of Hannibal Court.
He was remanded back to the Oswego County Jail, held with bail from previous charges.
