Hannibal Man Charged With Rape

OSWEGO, NY – A Hannibal man is accused of having sexual relations with a minor.
At 6:16 p.m. on Wednesday, Bryan A. Elleman, 27, of 218 Phinney Road, Hannibal, was arrested for third-degree rape, a class E felony and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor.
The charges stem from the investigation into an incident that allegedly occurred in the town of Hannibal during the months of January to April 2012.
The suspect allegedly had sexual intercourse with the victim being less than 17 years of age.
Elleman was arraigned in the Town of Hannibal Court.
He was remanded to Oswego County Jail in lieu of $3,000 cash or $6,000 bond.
He is to return to court on June 12.
