Harborfest Opens Tonight; Little River Band Performs

It’s opening night for Harborfest.  The annual summer celebration begins in the usual fashion — with an opening set of concerts wrapped around an opening ceremony.

Thursday night’s opening begins with the Bob Seger tribute band “Hollywood Nights” at 7:30 p.m.

Opening ceremonies take place at 8:30 p.m.

Right after that, the night’s headliners take the stage.  Australia’s Little River Band perform on the Breitbeck Park stage beginning at 9:00 p.m.

Here’s the band from 1981, performing its best-known hit in America, “Reminiscing”.

None of the original members are still with Little River Band.
