OSWEGO, NY – City police are continuing to investigate a body discovered this afternoon on the shore of Lake Ontario.
The body, of “of a clothed white man,†was discovered by a passerby who reported it to 911.
City police were at the scene at 1:10 p.m.
The body was reportedly discovered near the west Oswego city – town line, near SUNY Oswego.
The age of the person is unknown.
Authorities are checking to see if there are any reports of missing persons.
The body was taken to the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s office to be autopsied.
