Mexico Home Catches Fire

Fire struck a home at 4783 State Route 3 in Mexico this morning. The home is just along the town line with Palermo.

Fire departments from Mexico, Palermo, Volney and New Haven responded.

The fire was in the basement and took less than an hour to put out.  No injuries were reported, fire officials said.
