Mexico Man Facing Drug Charges After Traffic Stop

SYRACUSE – On Tuesday (July 5), at 12:20 p.m., State Police stopped a vehicle on North Geddes Street in the city of Syracuse for a traffic violation.

Investigation at the scene revealed the front seat passenger, Michael D. Alesci, 52, from 478 Darrow Road, Mexico, was allegedly in possession of cocaine and marijuana.

He was taken into custody and charged with Criminal Possession of a Controlled Substance 7th degree, a class “A” misdemeanor, and Unlawful Possession of Marijuana, a violation.

He is scheduled to appear in City of Syracuse Court on July 25 at 9:30 a.m.
