More Charges Pending Following Assault Victim’s Death

OSWEGO – On Friday (Oct. 6) at 1:25 p.m. the Oswego City Police Department was notified that Deidre M. Rogers (2/18/1962), of 956 Middle Road Lot 8A, Oswego, had died.

Rogers was the victim, who was hospitalized from the assault that occurred on Sept. 30 at 128 E Fourth St. in the city of Oswego.

After her death, Rogers was brought to the Onondaga County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

Pending the results of the autopsy, the Oswego City Police Department will be working in conjunction with the Oswego County District Attorney’s Office in filing appropriate charges in this matter, police said today (Oct. 9).

The suspect in this case, Jason A Golas is still being held in custody at the Oswego County Jail.

This is an ongoing investigation.
