OSWEGO, NY – Retired OFD officer Dick Drosse shot these photos at Oswego Canal Locks O-3 as the NYFD fireboat passed through, coming from Oswego on Friday.

Members of the NYC Marine Unit are delivering their 68-foot fireboat, the William M. Feehan, to NYFD marine operations port at the Brooklyn Navy Yard.
The boat is constructed from steel recovered from the Twin Trade Towers.
William M. Feehan was First Deputy Fire Commissioner of the City of New York, serving in that position, until his death in the line of duty during the collapse of the North Tower of the World Trade Center on September 11, 2001.
The vessel is powered by three 1,800-hp. Caterpillar engines set up with jet drive.

Total pumping capacity is 8,000 gallons per minute.
The main water canon can deliver 5,000 gallons per minute.
Pictured, helping deliver the boat is Michael J. Buckheit, Chief of Marine Operations.
In the pilot house is the memorial plaque that is shown, for First Deputy Fire Commissioner William M. Feehan.
