OSWEGO – At approximately 11 a.m. today (March 28), members of the Oswego City Police Department responded to the area of 358 W/ Third St, in the city of Oswego for reports multiple people fighting.
Upon arrival, it was determined that a 28-year-old male victim had suffered multiple wounds – lacerations from a knife, according to police.
That victim has been transported to Upstate Medical, Syracuse, for treatment.
He was alert and conscious at the time.
One person of interest is being interviewed at the Oswego City Police Department at this time.
This is an ongoing investigation.
Police believe all of the persons involved know each other and that this was a verbal altercation that turned physical.
There is no reason to believe that there is a risk to the general public at this time, a po;ice spokesperson added.
