OSWEGO COUNTY – The Oswego County Health Department is investigating a confirmed case of COVID-19 at Price Chopper, 137 NYS Rte. 104, Oswego.
Anyone who visited the store between 6 a.m. and noon on Sunday, Nov. 15 may have been exposed to the virus and should monitor themselves for symptoms of the disease for 14 days.
Symptoms of COVID-19 include fever, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, chills, repeated shaking with chills, gastrointestinal illness and new loss of taste or smell.
Oswego County Public Health Director Jiancheng Huang said that people experiencing COVID-19 symptoms should call their health care provider from home. People should not go to emergency departments unless they are experiencing life-threatening symptoms.
