Oswego Man Charged With Rape

OSWEGO, NY – On Wednesday, the Oswego City Police Department began an investigation of an alleged sexual assault. On Thursday, Fareed Hosein, 29, of 26 W. Fourth St., Apt. #2, Oswego, was arrested and charged with the following:
Rape in the 1st – degree– actor more than 18 years old and victim under 13 years of age, Class B Felony; Criminal sexual act 1st degree – actor more than 18 years old and victim under 13 years old and did engage in oral or anal sexual conduct, Class B Felony.
It is alleged that on Tuesday, while at Hosein’s West Fourth Street address, the defendant did engage in oral sexual conduct and sexual intercourse with a victim under the age of 13.
Hosein was arraigned in Oswego City Court and remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility with no bail.
He has a return court date of April 15 at 9:30 a.m.
