Oswego Man Facing Child Porn Charges

OSWEGO, NY – At approximately 7:50 a.m. today (April 10), Oswego City Police executed a search warrant at 235 E. Eighth St. in the city of Oswego.
Upon execution, investigators reportedly discovered evidence relating to an on-going investigation regarding the possession of child pornography.
As a result of the investigation, Oswego Police arrested and charged 54-year-old James A. Jackson of 235 E. Eighth St., with three counts of “Possessing a Sexual Performance by a Child” (class E felony) and three counts of “Possessing an Obscene Performance by a Child” (class E felony).
The investigation is continuing and additional charges may be pending.
Mr. Jackson was arraigned in Oswego City Court at 3 p.m. and was remanded to the Oswego County Correctional Facility in lieu of $5,000 bail /$10,000 bond with a return court date of April 15.
